Nichola Wadey Financial Services Limited (FSP29042) holds a licence issued by the Financial Markets Authority to provide financial advice.  Nicola Louise Wadey is authorised under that licence to provide financial advice.

Not all of Nichola Wadey Financial Services Limited advisers will be able to provide advice in relation to all of these financial advice products or from all of these providers.

Nichola Wadey Financial Services Limited does not give advice on:

  • Mortgages

  • Financial Planning

  • Fire and General Insurances

 

Nichola Wadey Financial Services Limited refers these to a trusted adviser, who is licensed to advise on these appropriately, and Nichola

Wadey Financial Services Limited receives a referral fee for the referral only.

 

Fees or Expenses

 

Nichola Wadey Financial Services Limited does not charge fees, expenses, or any other amount for the financial advice provided to clients except in the particular circumstances set out below and agreed in advance with the client.

How I am renumerated

For Life and Health Insurance, Nichola Wadey Financial Services Limited receives commissions from the insurance companies on whose policies I give advice. If you decide to take out insurance, the insurer will pay a commission to Nicholas Wadey Financial Services Limited. The amount of the commission is based on the amount of the premium. 

 

Conflicts of Interest and Incentives

 

I am here for our clients and to advise you as best I can.  Your interests are my priority although we do have business relationships with product providers also.

From time to time, product providers assist us with sponsorship monies for our clients’ sports teams and may also reward us for the overall business we provide to them.  They may give us tickets to sports events, hampers, and other incentives.

 

Nichola Wadey Financial Services Limited will receive a referral fee for referring to a Mortgage Broker, Fire and General Insurances and Financial Planning.

Nicholas Wadey Financial Services will receive a commission from an insurance company if insurance is put in place for you. 

 

How we manage any conflicts of interest:

​

  • I follow an advice process that ensures our recommendations are made approximately, based on the client’s goals and circumstances

  • All our advisers undergo annual training about how to manage conflicts of interests

  • I maintain registers of conflicts of interest and the gifts and incentives I receive.  These registers are monitored regularly, and additional training is provided as required

  • I undertake an annual independent Compliance Assurance Review

 

Complaints and Dispute Resolution

 

If you have a problem, concern, or complaint about any part of my service, please contact us so we can try to fix the problem. You may contact our internal complaints by calling 09 950 5901 or email nicky@nwfs.co.nz. 

 

I will consider your complaint and let you know how we intend to resolve it. We may need to contact you to get further information about your complaint. We aim to resolve complaints within 10 working days of receiving them. If we can’t, we will contact you within that time to let you know we need more time to consider your complaint.

I will contact you by phone or email to let you know whether we can resolve your complaint and how we propose to do so.

 

If I can’t resolve your complaint, or you aren’t satisfied with the way I propose to do so, you can contact Financial Services Complaints Ltd (FSCL) - A Financial Ombudsman Service. Our duties and Obligations to you

 

I am bound by the duties of the Financial Markets Conduct Act (431l, 431K, 431L and 431M) to:

  • Meet the standards of competence, knowledge, and skill set out in the Code of Conduct

  • Give priority to the client’s interests and

  • Exercise care, diligence, and skill and

  • Meet the standards of ethical behaviour, conduct, and client care set out in the Code of Conduct.
